The University of Hohenheim and the Eberhard Karls University of Tùˆbingen invite young and senior researchers to participate in oral and poster presentations at the Bio-Geosphere Africa Conference: Research for Diversity and Sustainable Development in the Face of Climate Change (BioGARD) to be held in Stuttgart-Hohenheim (Germany) on 14th and 15th of September 2023.

The deadline for abstract submission for the BioGARD conference will be next week, on May 3, 2023!

We highly encourage scientists to submit proposals for the following three topics:

Topic Area 1: Bio- and geodiversity of Africa: Current status and challenges in the face of environmental change

Topic Area 2: Resilient agriculture and resource use in an increasingly unpredictable future

Topic Area 3:  Resilient Health and Human Well-being under novel climatic and ecological settings

The conference discusses underlying causes and interlinkages among environmental, social, and political challenges in Africa, focusing on the topics of bio- and geodiversity, resilient agriculture, and health and well-being. The event aims to identify future directions for the integrative and sustainable development of Africa and to facilitate the adaptive capacity of social-, health-, ecological- and agrosystems in the face of the climate crisis.

Participate in the BioGARD Conference 2023 by sharing your research and expertise with colleagues. Get more information regarding the call of abstracts here: https://biogard.uni-hohenheim.de/en/callforabstracts
