Uni Hohenheim goes Agroforscht: Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft

Ein letztes Mal »Uni Hohenheim goes Agroforscht«. Am 23.01.2024 fanden wir uns VORERST das letzte Mal im Hörsaal B2 zu unserer Vortragsreihe zusammen. Als Ehrengast und wahrlich einen Experten im Feld der Agroforst Forschung, begleitete uns Christopher Morhart durch den Abend.
Als Mitwirkender an der Professur für Waldwachstum und Dendroökologie, der Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, war er dem Thema des Abends mehr als gewachsen. Wir blickten in die Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft der Agroforstforschung in Baden-Württemberg und bekamen spannende Einblicke in die langjährige, sowohl traditionell als auch innovativ geprägte Form der Landwirtschaft.
Als zweiten Teil des Vortrags standen wie zu Beginn unserer Reihe, Olef Koch und Jakob Hörl hinter dem Mikrofon und gaben einen zukunftsweisenden Ausblick über die Agroforstprojekte der Universität Hohenheim. Es folgten viele Fragen und Diskussionsthemen, die einen wundervollen Abschluss unserer vorerst letzten Veranstaltung zeichneten. Zeit für eine gemeinsame Runde mit Cidre, Käse und selbstgebackenem Brot vom Hof Sonnenwald, war natürlich noch drin.
Wir bedanken uns für eure Teilnahme, Mühe und Wissen, dass unsere ExpertInnen mit uns teilen wollten sowie alle spannenden Fragen aus dem Publikum von mittlerweile bekannten Gesichtern.

One last time "Uni Hohenheim goes Agroforscht". On 23.01.2024 we met for the last time in lecture hall B2 for our lecture series. As guest of honor and truly an expert in the field of agroforestry research, Christopher Morhart accompanied us through the evening.
As a contributor to the Chair of Forest Growth and Dendroecology at the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg, he was more than up to the topic of the evening. We took a look at the past, present and future of agroforestry research in Baden-Württemberg and gained exciting insights into this long-standing form of agriculture, which is both traditional and innovative.
As the second part of the lecture, Olef Koch and Jakob Hörl stood behind the microphone, as at the beginning of our series, and gave a forward-looking outlook on the agroforestry projects at the University of Hohenheim. This was followed by many questions and discussion topics, which marked a wonderful conclusion to our last event for the time being. Of course, there was still time for a get-together with cider, cheese and home-baked bread from the Sonnenwald farm.
