MERCURY AMF: Online seminars
Available now
Capacity building videos of “Mercury-AMF Phytoremediation of Mercury-contaminated Mining Sites in Ghana and Burkina Faso Using Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi” are now available.
In April 2023, INOQ GmbH, one of our project partners in the project “Mercury AMF” developed a series of online trainings under the topic. The aim of the seminar series is to contribute to a better understanding of mycorrhizal networks in soils of Ghana. The training is divided into 5 parts:
-Soil sampling
-Spore sieving and harvesting
-Most-Probable-Number-Test
-Trap culture
-Slide preparation and mycorrhizal assessment
Tthe Hohenheim Research Center for Global Food Security and Ecosystems (GFE) supports the coordination in project management as well as communication and dissemination activities. Read more about the Mercury-AMF project here: https://mercury-amf.uni-hohenheim.de
