Network Meeting Africa Research

UHOH - Network Meeting Africa Research

We will organise a UHOH internal "Network Meeting Africa Research" in an online format on 30 September 2021

The University of Hohenheim (UHOH) has broad expertise in Africa-related research. The Network Meeting Africa Research will bring together all the different actors working on Africa-related projects in Hohenheim - be it with emphasis on agri-culture, social science or economics. This is an important opportunity to strengthen the cooperation and networking within the University.

The online meeting will take place on 30 September 2021 from 2 to 5 pm. The event provides a platform for getting to know each other’s Africa-related research and to expand our networks. Additionally, strategies for strengthening future research will be developed during the event.

Expected outcomes of the meeting:

  • Get an overview of UHOH´s broad expertise in Africa research
  • Discuss ongoing projects related to Africa from different thematic backgrounds
  • Collaborate in working groups on the opportunities for future Africa research
  • Formulate a strategy to strengthen Africa-related research on the UHOH
  • Expand networks

After the event, we would like to invite all participants to a physical get together with cold drinks at the Research Center for Global Food Security and Ecosystems (at Wollgrasweg 43).

The target audience for the Network Meeting Africa Research will be UHOH Professors, Postdocs and PhD students.
