AGRINATURA is the European Alliance on Agricultural Knowledge for Development, an entity established jointly by European Research and Education organisations. It is based on two pillars – Agrinatura Association regrouping all members and Agrinatura-EEIG, which is its operational arm. Activities are managed by the Joint Management Unit, with one office in Cork, Ireland (Information & Communication, Association secretariat) and one office in Greenwich, UK (Business Management, Administration, EEIG secretariat).

Calling Land Restoration Entreprises


The Land Accelerator is launching applications for its sixth cohort in
Africa from now until March 15, 2024. The program is a training and
mentorship program targeted specifically toward businesses that
restore degraded forests, farmland, and pasture. Participants leave the
program ready to connect with potential investors so that they can
take their business to the next stage of growth.

This year, applicants will be selected to join one of two simultaneous programs: 100 participants will be part of the continental Land Accelerator Africa and an additional 260 companies will join the Land Accelerator Landscapes. Aligning with the Restore Local project
www.wri.org/initiatives/restore-local, the Landscapes program will focus on three vital areas: Kenya's Greater Rift Valley; the Lake Kivu & Rusizi River Basin of Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Rwanda; and the Ghana Cocoa Belt.

The Governance and Policy Support Unit within the Food Systems and Food Safety Division, Development Law Service, Office of SDGs at FAO is soliciting successful governance measures and interventions for inclusive, resilient, and sustainable agrifood systems. This initiative aims to support FAO's collaboration with governments and stakeholders in policy, law, and governance reform. Submissions are welcome in English, Spanish, and French, with a deadline of March 18, 2024.

The Nutrition Research Facility (NRF)


The Nutrition Research Facility (NRF) has launched a call for expression of interest for a Senior non-key expert in Agroecology to support the implementation and field coordination of the evaluative research endline study in Madagascar.

The assignment is part of the NRF technical support on monitoring and evaluation (M&E) to the EU delegation and implementing partners of the EU-funded Regional Food and Nutrition Security Programme  - SANOI, in the West Indian Ocean (2020 - 2025). The evaluative research endline study, is an integral component of the M&E plan of the SANOI program, to provide a systematic assessment of the worth or merit of time, money, effort, and resources spent to achieve program goals. The position is home-based in Madagascar, with travel/field missions in different regions /districts to take place when required.

Information about the scope of work and eligibility criteria for each profile can be found in the attached Terms of Reference. The expert is expected to start her/his assignment in March/April 2024.
