New website on the Research Network Africa published [05.08.21]
Africa is rich in natural resources but faces major challenges such as the consequences of climate change and related extreme weather events. In addition, the African population is expected to double within the next 30 years.
Based on its long-standing research contacts with African research institutions, the Africa Research Network of the University of Hohenheim aims to gain knowledge and develop models with local partners that can make a decisive contribution to overcoming these problems.
The Research Center for Global Food Security (702) and the Institute of Agricultural Sciences in the Tropics (Hans-Ruthenberg-Institute) (490) documented all on-going and recently completed research initiatives in Africa with involvement of the University of Hohenheim. The new section of the university website contains trans-regional projects, project in specific regions of Africa and main cooperation partners across Africa.
