Eine Veranstaltung der Koordinationsstelle Agroforstsystem Forschung (kAFo) – Beginn: 14.11.2023Die Vortragsreihe »Hohenheim goes Agroforscht« startet am 14.11.2023 um 18.30 – 20.00 Uhr im HS 20. Alle Interessierten, Mitarbeitenden und Studierenden der Universität sind eingeladen. Die Veranstaltung ist auf Englisch.
Bei der Auftaktveranstaltung der sechs-teiligen Vortragsreihe rund um das Thema Agroforstwirtschaft werden Jakob Hörl und Olef Koch die Koordinationsstelle Agroforstsystem-Forschung (kAFo) und bisherigen Tätigkeiten präsentieren. Danach gibt es eine thematische Einführung in die Agroforstwirtschaft und eine Vorstellung der Agroforstversuchsfläche am Ihinger Hof. Die Forscherin Dr. Julia Schneider vom Zentrum Ökologischer Landbau (ZÖLUH) stellt das aktuell laufende internationale Verbundprojekt SENSE vor, welches Synergien von Integrierten Systemen in Europa und Brasilien erforscht. Im Anschluss folgt eine Podiumsdiskussion.

Lecture series "Hohenheim goes Agroforscht" – organized by the Coordination Office on Agroforestry System Research (kAFo) - Start: 14.11.2023
The lecture series "Hohenheim goes Agroforscht" starts on 14.11.2023 at 18.30 - 20.00 in room HS 20. All interested persons, employees and students of the University are invited. The event is in English, several others of the series too.
At the kick-off event of the six-part lecture series on the topic of agroforestry Jakob Hörl and Olef Koch will present the Coordination Office for Agroforestry Systems Research (kAFo) and its activities. This will be followed by an introduction to modern agroforestry systems in temperate climates and a presentation of the agroforestry trial site at the research station “Ihinger Hof”. Researcher Dr. Julia Schneider from the Center for Organic Agriculture (ZÖLUH) will present the current international joint research project SENSE, which examines synergies of integrated land-use systems in Europe and Brazil. The presentation is followed by a panel discussion. Participants are warmly invited to participate.
After the event snacks and drinks will be served in the foyer for participants.
