Permanent grassland: profitability, carbon sequestration and biodiversity [13.04.16]
Permanent grasslands cover more than 60 million hectares across the EU-28 and they have a crucial role for many livestock production systems and other ecosystem-services. The EIP-AGRI Focus Group addressed the challenge of evaluating the current situation of Permanent Grassland (PGs) and the required paths for increasing their productivity in a sustainable way.
